Mer enn 15 års erfaring innen sensordesign og datasimuleringer. Interesseområder innen modellering og simulering inkluderer multiphysics systemer, piezoelektriske transdusere, ultralydutbredelse, elektromagnetiske sensorer, varmeutbredelse, brannsimuleringer, geotermiske systemer, termisk energilagring i berggrunnen (BTES) og energisystemer for bygninger. Analyse av sensor- og måledata fra et bredt spekter av forskjellige områder har vært en sentral del av forsknings- og utviklingsarbeidet.

Bred erfaring innen målevitenskap, strømningsmålinger, flerfasemåling, usikkerhetsanalyse og allokering. Inngående kunnskap om fysiske sensorprinsipper, med særlig fokus på akustikk, ultralydtransdusere, elektromagnetisme, mikrobølgeteknikk og sensorer for strømningsmåling. Daglig praktisk erfaring innen vitenskapelig programmering i 25+ år, inkludert MATLAB, Python, Perl, HTML5 og webprogrammering. Ansvarlig for implementering av interne simuleringsmodeller og verktøy (f.eks. FEMP, VKBsim) og bred erfaring med bruk av kommersielle simuleringsverktøy som COMSOL Multiphysics, TRNSYS, Earth Energy Designer, HFSS, Proteus DS og Modelica.
