Holds a Msc (2006) and PhD (2010) in Physics from University of Oslo.

Credibility is all we have. Therefore I carry a personal committment to "the Hippocratic oath" by scientists that is to: always speak truthfully, remain independent and always be clear on scientific method
and how sources of information is compiled.

In addition, I am a normal person deeply worried about how we as humans affect our planet, that is how we treat Nature, Environment and our common Climate.

That has implications to research and project interests that are tightly linked to the commonly agreed societal goals expressed in:
- climate neutrality by 2050
- restore and preserve nature according to the Montreal agreement, and
- to ensure close links to UN development goals.

I have teaching experience from University of Stavanger (for 4 years and 4
courses) and supervised 4 PhD students, and several Msc and Bsc
students.

Current research interests are:
- Geothermal and ground source heat extraction (free out energy for more useful purposes than low temperature heating and cooling)
- Carbon capture and storage with focus on value chain analyses (to enable some remaining emissions hard to avoid)
