I am a physicist specializing in acoustics. I have worked both experimentally and theoretically with various ultrasound technologies and have experience in numerical modeling of piezoelectric ultrasound transducers and acoustic measurement systems. This includes flow measurement in pipes, material characterization of solids, and detection of deposits in pipelines.

Currently, I am completing a PhD in acoustics at the University of Bergen, alongside my work at NORCE. The PhD is related to sound velocity measurements in natural gas to estimate its energy content. This involves extensive use of finite element modeling in COMSOL Multiphysics® to improve the accuracy of necessary correction factors and thereby reduce the uncertainty of the speed of sound measurements.

I also have experience with (i) uncertainty calculations of measurement stations, measurement systems, and CO2 emissions, (ii) using sound velocity, pressure, and temperature to estimate gas quality, and (iii) allocation of oil and gas.
