NORCE has expertise related to measurement systems for CO2 and other climate gas emissions. We help analyzing the problem and designing the measurement system.

NORCE performs 3rd party documentation and uncertainty analysis of CO2 emissions for authority reporting. We have extensive experience in analyzing and advising on CO2 emission measurement and estimation, both flare, fuel and flue gas.

The "CMR-model" for estimating CO2 emission from flaring was developed by NORCE in cooperation with Equinor and is used by many operators on the Norwegian Continental shelf for reporting to the Norwegian Environmental Agency. NORCE offers workshops, in addition to quality assurance and guidance related to this model.
