NORCE has experience with design and construction of acoustic transducers for a wide range of applications, such as ultrasonic flow meters a transducer tailored for a HPHT compact separator. NORCE (at the time operating under the name Christian Michelsen Research) has been central in the development of the original versions of several flow meters that are on the market today, including:

  • Fluenta Flare Gas Meter
  • FMC Technologies MPU series of gas ultrasonic flowmeters
  • Smith Meter® Ultra series of liquid ultrasonic flowmeters
  • XSENS series of clamp-on ultrasonic guided-wave flowmeters.
