Design and construction of acoustic transducer

We have experience with design and construction of acoustic transducer for a wide range of different applications, such as ultrasonic flow meters, a high pressure/high temperature compact gravity based separator (NISEP 201), and an upward-looking sonar (ES300). NORCE has been central in developing the original versions of several flow meters which are on the marked today, namely the Fluenta Flare Gas Meter, FMC Technologies MPU series of gas ultrasonic flowmeters, Smith Meter® Ultra series of liquid ultrasonic flowmeters and XSENS series of non-invasive ultrasonic guided-wave flowmeters.

We can deliver custom transducer designs, or contribute to further development of existing transducer design, combining numerical modelling with electrical and acoustical measurements in order to find the most cost-effective solution.
