Jobber i all hovedsak i forsknings og utviklingsprosjekt som involverer numerisk havmodellering, på romlige skalaer fra Norskehavet, fjorder og ned til laboratorieskala på mm. Modellen jeg har vært mest involvert i heter Bergen Ocean Model (BOM). Typiske arbeidsoppgaver er etablering av modell for nye områder, modellering av spredning av materie i gitte områder, analyse av strøm, oppsett av modellgitter (gridding), tilpasning av drivkrefter, parallellisering av modellkode, ytelsesoptimalisering av modellkode, bidra i skriving av prosjektforslag og søknader.
