Work area associated with measurement science, uncertainty analyzes and allocation. Background in acoustic instrumentation and measurement methods, with special focus on ultrasonic transducer technology, modeling and non-invasive/intrusive measurement methods. This includes the use of finite element modeling of piezoelectric transducer constructions, development of models for wave propagation and interaction in layered media, signal processing, as well as the application of guided waves, reflection and transmission measurements. In recent years, he has worked extensively with third-party uncertainty analyzes of fiscal measurement systems and the propagation of uncertainty through allocation systems.
