Developing efficient and sustainable energy solutions
The Energy Department works with research and development within petroleum, storage of CO2, hydrogen, offshore wind, geothermal energy and energy systems. The department are heading and is heavily involved in centres within subsurface understanding, storage of CO2, drilling and well technology and hydrogen. In the department there is also very strong expertise in data assimilation, optimization, automation, autonomy and AI, which is also used in other application areas.
The department cooperates closely with industry, academic and public sectors
