Arnoud Jochemsen is a senior scientist at NORCE. He obtained his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Delft University of Technology in 2009 and in 2018 started his PhD degree at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU).
From 2006 to 2014, he was systems engineer and project engineer at Scarabee in Rotterdam, Netherlands, developing various technology solutions for airports. From 2014 to 2018, he was scientific software engineer at S[&]T in Oslo, Norway, contributing to various ESA projects related to earth observation and instrument simulation.
At NORCE, he is engaged in various projects related to sensing and spectroscopy. In the project iBot4CRMs he is dedicated to recovery and recycling of critical raw materials from waste streams.
