Sustainable Transitions
Our researchers are located along the coast from Kristiansand to Alta. We aim to develop knowledge for sustainable transition in regions and industries.
The green shift, innovation, restructuring and value creation in industry and coastal regions are essential. We analyze resource- and interest conflicts, circular economy, waste, value chains, material flows and business models. Energy conversion, growth and transition in ocean industries and regional and business economic instruments.
We study restructuring and business development in small communities and among indigenous peoples, and in a cross-border regional context, and multilevel governance in Arctic ocean.
The researchers have broad and up-to-date knowledge of their respective regions.
