I have a background in political science. During my career, I have acquired a PhD in political science at the department of comparative politics at the University of Bergen. Today, I work as a senior researcher at Norwegian Research Centre (NORCE). My main research interests are judicial behavior and public opinion of courts and judges. This work also includes topics related to how AI is used in the courts and how the use of AI in the courts are perceived by the public. I also research public attitudes towards renewable energy, including hydrogen and carbon capture and storage technologies. My work mainly consists of quantitative and survey experimental analyses, including machine learning.
My most recent journal publication is: Dissent, Legitimacy, and Public Support for Court Decisions: Evidence from a Survey‐Based Experiment", Law & Society Review, 53(2): 588-610.
