I am a researcher at NORCE Norwegian Research Centre AS, and part of the Climate Futures centre for research-based innovation, and the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research.

My research focuses on:

  • climate dynamics, where I use dynamical theory, observations and models of varying complexity to understand the large-scale circulation and its role in climate
  • climate services, where I work together with the public and private sector to help them understand and adapt to weather and climate risk
