I work as a senior researcher in NORCE Energy, where I have been working in the Energy Modelling and Automation group since 2004 (former IRIS and Rogaland Research). I hold a PhD in theoretical particle physics from the University of Bergen (2004).

My main focus area is real-time modelling related to automation of the drilling process. I have been heavily involved in the development and testing of DrillTronics, DrillScene and DrillExpect which are products provided by Sekal AS, and I still work closely with Sekal.
