Daniel Stødle is a senior scientist with the DARWIN-group at NORCE. He has a Ph.D in Computer Science from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway and is a specialist in visualization of large datasets. He has developed a highly scalable system for visualizing geographical data in 3D, as well as several successful commercial and open source projects for multiple platforms. In his research, he has focused on high-performance visualization in 3D, organizing and delivering large datasets and realtime processing and distribution of data. He is the primary researcher behind the NLive platform, which is used as a foundation for the operational services InSAR Norway and European Ground Motion Service. His competence spans everything from backend development to frontend visualization. He has solid experience in bringing projects from proof of concept to operational services.
