The Enabling Technologies department engages in research, development, and implementation of innovations and technologies to enable and support various areas and sectors. We explore and develop forward-thinking technologies that can help address complex societal challenges. This includes applied research in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analysis, robotics, autonomy, cybersecurity, and the internet of things (IoT). Furthermore, we work with measurement systems/technology and develop smart sensor solutions, as well as engage in modeling and optimization of industrial processes.

The department collaborates with industrial partners, public institutions, and academic institutions to contribute to technology transfer and innovation. The aim is to deliver practical solutions to complex problems and contribute to future sustainable development.
