Fibre optics for harsh environment
NORCE has a longstanding history in fibre optical communication. We have focused on development of communication systems for use in harsh environments and challenging conditions.
For example, we have demonstrated a 10km single optical fibre link at 100 Mbps working at 177 C, designed for down-hole applications.
