To continue and strengthen the ongoing research cooperation between Norway, Canada and USA concerning Arctic Report Card focused on tundra greening, clmatology and cryospheric change, b). To integrate the monitoring work by the Svalbard Integrated Observation System (SIOS-SESSreports), COAT with the the international monitoring and research networks like ABoVE, Shrub Team, Greenland Ecosystem Monitoring, and the Arctic Report Card. Extend the former work with better integration between research fields like vegetation, herbivory, climatology, permafrost and cryosphere. Modelling of different factors and drivers will be emphazised.
