MOBAL - Equality Monitor and Business Barometer for Gender Equality in Agder

MOBAL - Equality Monitor and Business Barometer for Gender Equality in Agder

NORCE, in collaboration with the Center for Gender Equality at the University of Agder, has initiated a joint effort focused on gender equality and diversity in Agder. The project, among other things, will create an updated gender equality monitor for Agder and will work on developing a gender equality barometer for the region in selected areas of the workplace/business.

The objective is to update the knowledge base on gender equality indicators to implement measures in the region.

It has been several years since the last gender equality monitor was published for the Agder region, which was developed by researchers at Agderforskning. Various stakeholders in the region have expressed a desire for an updated gender equality monitor for Agder.

There is a need among actors in society for up-to-date statistics as a basis for knowledge-based and targeted efforts, and a stronger debate on this very important area of society. There is therefore a need to produce an updated and new version that includes current data from 2024 and identifies areas for development that will be particularly important in the years ahead.
