Marin Overvåking Hordaland

«Marine monitoring Hordaland» is a marine environmental monitoring program which covers a number of selected aquaculture dense fjords in the region of Hordaland. The aim of the program is to describe the environmental condition in the fjords and trends related to eutrophication and chemical impact of aquaculture relevant substances.
The monitoring program include water sampling, soft-bottom sediment sampling (benthos and chemicals) and littoral surveys.

The monitoring program started in 2013. NORCE has since 2016 been responsible for excecution of the program.
