I started my PhD project at NORCE with the research group LFI (Laboratory for Freshwater ecology and Inland fisheries) in September 2022. My PhD project is a part of the LOST project and entails using acoustic telemetry to study the behaviour of spiny dogfish, that for more than a decade were protected in Norwegian waters up until the end of 2022. One of the primary research questions for my dissertation is to study the effect of deoxygenation, that is currently becoming more frequent and severe in the Norwegian sill fjords, on the behaviour and habitat use of spiny dogfish. I also work with other projects, primarily with the use of acoustic telemetry. More information about the LOST project and the other telemetry projects can be found here http://www.bergentelemetry.com
