Research fields are industrial biotechnology, upscaling, fermentation organism screening, waste valorization, process development, protein production, and biomolecule/biochemical production.
We offer competence within biotechnological solutions for enabling the circular bioeconomy. Our focus is to develop, upscale, and optimize fermentation processes for industrial applications. The methods we are using are functional screening of microorganisms, small scale and pilot scale fermentation (both gas and precision fermentation), computational fluid dynamics and kinetic modeling, fermentation profiling and control systems development, along with comprehensive LCA and TEA modeling.
