I am a Senior Researcher at NORCE Norwegian Research Centre working on control systems and energy systems for maritime and industrial applications.
My research focuses on modelling, estimation, and control of complex energy systems, including hydrogen fuel cell systems, battery systems, and maritime energy management. The goal is to develop robust control and monitoring solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and emissions performance in energy-intensive operations.
I coordinate the MARINER project, which develops large-scale hydrogen fuel cell systems for maritime vessels.
I received my PhD in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and later worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the DrillWell research programme on drilling automation. I have also held research positions at the University of California, San Diego, and Mines ParisTech in France.
