NORCE's Climate Department works on various aspects within climate research and adaptation. We research changes in the climate system and how this affects both humans and the environment. This may include research on climate change, climate modeling, assessment of climate risks, development of climate adaptation strategies, and advisory services for adapting to and mitigating climate change.

The department also conducts analyses and provides recommendations to authorities, organizations, and businesses to help manage climate change in a sustainable manner. Overall, NORCE's Climate Department works to understand, predict, and mitigate the consequences of climate change.
