We deliver research and innovation in energy, health care, climate, the environment, society and technology. Corporate social responsibility is one of the cornerstones of the work conducted by NORCE and is reflected in our vision, Passion for knowledge – working together for sustainability. Cultivating knowledge to promote sustainability is the driving force behind our research.

NORCE has a management system (MAPS) which is in approved compliance with the requirements given in NS-EN ISO 9001:2015 and NS-EN ISO 14001:2015.
The management system is certified by Kiwa Technological Institute certification.

NORCE was founded in July 2017, but our activities build on the legacy of infused companies. The legacy can be traced all the way back to 1930 when the Chr. Michelsen Institute foundation was established.
