The project aims to enable production of hoses of higher quality and lower price, enabling use of new raw materials. The project shall deliver a mathematical model of the core process, in-line process quality measurements, a new, flexible extruder tool, an automated core process, and test of new raw materials. NORCE’s contribution is mathematical modelling, evaluation of measurement methods, and specification and verification of the process automation.
