Forekomst av bivirkninger fra tannmaterialer etter tannbehandling

The incidence of side effects after dental treatment is estimated to be relatively low. In recent years, major changes have been made regarding the choice of dental restorative materials, and new data are needed. The aim of this prospective cohort study is to develop new knowledge on the occurrence of side effects related to exposure to dental treatment with modern dental materials. Patients who receive dental treatment at any of the participating dental clinics for a period of two weeks receive a question by SMS (text message sent via mobile phone) if they have experienced any type of reaction or side-effect related to the dental treatment three days after the dental treatment. Patients who answer “yes” to the question are called for a structured interview regarding the reaction.
