I come from a bioinformatics background, with experience in cellular
metabolic modelling. My previous research has focused on characterizing metabolism in rainbow trout by integrating different omcis data into one constraint-based model. In 2022 I graduated with an MSc. in Chemistry and
Biotechnology from Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Driven by my
interest in systems modelling, I have also been trained in the field of
sustainablity assessments. Here I can apply my skills in statistics, optimization and modelling, while gaining knowledge on sustainability and the life cycle analysis framework.
My current research focuses on life cycle assessments of various bio-based product networks, and building competence of sustainanility assessments in my region though the project BIOSIRKEL. In my most recent work I evaluate the sustainability of microalgae production plants in Norway based on the pilot-scale facility in Mongstad. I aim to combine both economic and environmental data to obtain a multi-dimensional assessment of this product chain.
