I have a bachelor's degree in European studies and a master's in Comparative Politics (both from the University of Bergen in 2016 and 2018, respectiely). I am currently pursuing a Ph.D in Comparative Politics, and my thesis is affiliated with a research project studying the Norwegian Local and Regional Government Reforms (2014-2019). My thesis looks at how different arguments and other factors affect regional administrative preferences towards centrally initiated territorial reforms.
More generally, my interests include institutional reform and innovation in the public sector, with a special focus on local and regional government, governance, and democracy. I work mostly quantitatively, and have specific competence in designing and analysing survey data in Stata and R. However, I am also conducting more qualitative research in my current thesis.
