Lisa-Marie Selvik (Ph.D) is a political scientist and researcher at NORCE Samfunn. Her research field is civil society and democracy with a particular focus on the relationship between the state and civil society. In her doctoral work, she focused on the space for liberal rights in young multi-party democracies and the interaction between actors in the state and civil society. Methodically, she works with collection and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data. She also has extensive experience from voluntary organizations in Norway and work that focuses on youth, activism and global challenges.
