VESTLAND CCUS 2022 - a seminar on carbon capture, storage and use of carbon (CCUS). It is organized by NORCE and UiB in collaboration with Energiomstilling Vest, Grøn Region Vestland and Øygarden Næringsutvikling and will take place on 22-23 November in Bergen/Øygarden.

This is the third time the seminar has been organized (2018, 2019 and 2020) and it has had a good response and a high number of participants.

The seminar has the following objectives:

  • Create a meeting place for stakeholders in CCUS from the R&D sector, industry and the public sector.
  • Promote sustainable CCUS solutions both regionally and nationally.
  • Highlight progress in research and updates on innovation within the Vestland region.
  • Facilitating new partnerships to add value to the Norwegian full-scale project, with particular focus on added value from the Northern Lights project

The target group is regional and national actors from the public and private sector with an interest in realizing CCUS, and will, among other things, deal with the Norwegian full-scale CCS project, the added value that is/can be achieved in Western Norway, among other things, through the use of carbon.
