Organisation of Emergency Primary Health Care in Norway

The project collects data as basis for national statistics and reports about the organisation of emergency primary health care in Norway.

Results 2018:

  • In 2018 we registered 177 out-of-hours (OOH) services and 97 local emergency communication centres in Norway.
  • One of ten OOH services has challenges in recruting qualified health personnel.
  • Many OOH services do not have routines for treating persons that have experineced domestic violence.
  • Four of ten OOH centres have never performed practical emergency training in cooperation with other emergency personnel.
