Ole Martin Lægreid

I am interested in various topics within social scientific climate research and political science. I lead a project that examines how voters respond to environmental, energy and climate politics (e.g., through election) (The electoral ramifications of environmental policy). I also participate in projects that concern fossil phase-out (Analyzing past and future energy industry contractions: Towards a better understanding of the flip-side of energy transitions), and political instruments that can influence carbon abatement and uptake (a PLATform for Open and Nationally accessible climate policy knowledge). I mainly use quantitative methods, but will also perform some qualitative work over the next years.
